DATA HORIZON is a digital agency located in Chiang Mai – “The Rose of the North” – in Thailand. We provide web development and SEO/SEA services for our German B2B clients and agency partners as well as intranet solutions for the industrial and automotive sector (Industry 4.0) using our dedicated in-house framework solution.
Job Description
We are currently reinforcing our team by looking for a senior PHP backend developer (฿50,000 – ฿100,000) with at least 7 years experience to join our Thai / German programmer team in Chiang Mai – “The Rose of the North”.
Daily business in our company:
– Developing websites as per the customers requirements (backend and frontend)
– Intranet solutions for German industrial and automotive clients (Industry 4.0)
– Dedicated framework development for our own in-house framework solution
Must-Have programming requirements and skills:
– Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, IT
– 5 years+ experience in developing web based applications in PHP
– Strong skills in object-oriented programming and on the field of MVC
– Experience with at least two JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. jQuery, Angular, reactJS, Vue) and one CSS Framework (e.g. Bootstrap)
– Hands on experience with SQL under MySQL or MariaDB (including database management tools)
– Proven experience with at least three PHP framework and/or CMS like Laravel, WordPress, Symfony, Zend, Drupal, Magento
– Ability to trace and resolve bugs by using appropriated tools on browser- and server-side
– Outstanding English, both written and spoken
Nice-to-Have programming requirements and skills:
– A solid understanding of security, session management and best practice in developing web applications
– Experienced in IDEs such as PHPStorm or Eclipse
– Hands on experience with responsive designs
– Strong optimization skills for growing platforms
– Linux server administration experiences (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu)
