Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (Software Development Services) – German-speaking to join our dynamic Thai-German team in Chiang Mai. The ideal candidate has proven experience in B2B client acquisition for software or digital services and a strong ability to build a healthy pipeline—from first outreach to signed projects—while working closely with our delivery team.
Responsibilities:
– Identify, approach, and win new clients and software development projects (DACH + USA focus).
– Develop and execute outbound strategies (LinkedIn, email, referrals, partnerships) to generate qualified leads.
– Qualify opportunities, run discovery calls, and translate business needs into clear project briefs with our technical team.
– Own and manage the sales pipeline and CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
– Create offers and proposals, negotiate terms, and support contract closing in collaboration with management.
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic partners.
– Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to refine positioning, service packages, and case-study driven sales materials.
Must-Have requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales/business development, ideally in software development, IT services, or digital agencies.
– Strong understanding of software project sales (discovery, scope, proposal, timeline/budget alignment).
– Proven track record of generating leads and closing projects with German-speaking clients.
– Excellent communication skills in German (native) and strong English, written and spoken.
– Structured, self-driven working style with strong organization and follow-through.
Nice-to-Have skills:
– Existing network in Germany/Austria/Switzerland (SMEs, startups, ecommerce, B2B).
– Experience selling web development, ecommerce, cloud, or product development services.
– Familiarity with CRMs and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and outreach workflows.
– Basic technical understanding of modern web stacks and software delivery processes (Agile/Scrum).
– Experience working with cross-cultural or remote teams.
– Experience of generating leads and closing projects with English-speaking clients.
